Pre-Plasterboard Inspection

…includes reinspecting previously reported defects!

Things are getting exciting as the build is motoring along nicely. The roof is on, sarking is attached, and windows are installed.

The plasterboard installation is imminent. The carpenters have returned to rectify defects from our Frame inspection report. They have also straightened the frame in preparation for the plasterboard and completed their final checks. Water supply and electrical cabling has been roughed-in.

Now it’s your turn… Our Pre-plasterboard inspection not only checks all work carried out since the last report, but also check to check all previous defects have been appropriately and properly rectified.

Both the Frame and Pre-plasterboard inspections work hand in hand to help ensure the structure of your new home is strong and true. Similar to the concrete slab, this is your last chance to check that the structure of your home is completed to a high standard before it is covered over. If it can’t be seen, it can’t be inspected.
